Were you one? haha I enjoyed Drama, as it gave me a lot of confidence. Became a very strong singer, decent tap dancer and had fun exploring characters and imagining their feelings and motivations. I am also an artist and musician and somehow a very strong conservative (thank you, Professor Limbaugh!).
Sounds like you have a good time! Glad about your confidence and learning to explore a wide range of motivations. It's an important part of education I think. Sounds like you'd agree!
I do! And then to be able to help people feel an emotion, especially to laugh, is the best thing. That's why I loved the Nunsense musical comedies so much...did them for 20 years! People would come in, and the husbands seemed careworn on a Friday night...probably just wanted to be home and relax but were dragged by their wives to the theatre haha! But soon, they were laughing so hard, the men had loosened up and their faces were so happy. Part of the beginning and ending of the shows are in the audience, mixing and talking with them, playing little games and riddles. Because I am LDS (The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints) a lot of my ward congregation would come see the show and they would tease me and say "I didn't know you were a nun!" And I'd say, "Yes, I used to be LDS, but I wanted to have some fun! LOL"
Drama nerd enters the room...
