This is some very interesting information as to what mankind has been developing...it truly boggles the mind. Although any scientific discovery is not inherently good or bad...each new piece of knowledge has the ability to be used for good or evil based on man's intentions...
We are at a point in time where we have to question the direction mankind is taking. This brings to mind some of the reasons God...who CREATED EVERYTHING...decided to destroy the earth with a flood. In Genesis 6 we read the story of the flood...

5 And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.
6 And it repented the Lord that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart.

As fascinating as all this technology is..it makes me understand all the more that God's plans and timing will prevail...there are limits on the amount of knowledge/evil that God will allow to exist. While I am not saying this technology is inherently evil...I am saying that as mankind discovers more and more of the secrets of the universe, his ability to distort God's creation multiplies...and this includes genetics, medical research, technology, etc...the list is endless...
