This is tiring. He is not now just “catching on”. Tucker has been doing hard news. He has been covering things as best as he can, given all of the FOX News BULLSHIT/impediment, without coming across as a tin foil hat “Alex Jones”.
Recognize the line he had been walking prior to him moving to Twitter.
Then stop being insecure about it and let people have their personal opinions about others. My life isn't bothered by people liking Tucker Carlson or not.
I have a two tiered opinion system when it comes to people: those I know personally and those I do not. If I don't know someone personally, I don't invest a lot of time nor do I care to have my opinion swayed. Is Tucker running for office? Is he going to be impacting my life directly in any way? No? So what's the big deal if I am not impressed?
I apologize. My comment wasn’t necessarily aimed at you. My comment was aimed at all of the people that claimed Tucker was controlled opposition.
At least in my mind, Tucker was doing hard news as best as he could, things that could be PROVED without having to resort to conspiracy theory; thus Tucker wouldn’t have been labeled as yet another tin-foil hatter like Alex Jones.
Because some people have made this their identity. This picking sides and judging anyone else as actually less holy, if not evil, for not holding the same views, is a snobby business. Gotta always be more savvy, and or enamored by the stars of this season than the next poster. That's how you get that sweet validation. So when you suggest there may be something less than wholly impressive with someone that's being championed like this, some people may feel that as a disapproval of their identity. Just my interpretation.
