Unfreakingbelievable!! If that doesn't wake up more PBS watching normies I'll lose total faith in that fragment of the sheeple. PBS needs to go bankrupt immediately. As it's obvious they are completely morally bankrupt!
"...inflammatory rhetoric from elected officials or people in power can prompt individual actors to commit acts of violence."
"...inflammatory rhetoric from elected officials or people in power can prompt deranged psychopathic criminals to commit acts of violence."
So what? That isn't the fault of the person speaking words. The two choices are, then, either to criminalize speech; or to criminalize random acts of violence. Sane, democratic, peaceful societies opt for the latter.
That bullshit warning is just another attempt to criminalize speech.
The real, actual, sane, American attitude is instead comprised in these two maxims: "Sticks and stones may break my bones, but WORDS can never hurt me." And: "I may not agree with what you say, but I will DEFEND TO THE DEATH your right to say it."
Because the right to think and speak our minds is absolute, without any legitimate limitation whatsoever, sacrosanct, and non-negotiable. A natural human right from the Creator. Period.
Well? What'd they do?
They put a disclaimer over the speech.
"Experts warn that inflammatory rhetoric from elected officials or people in power can prompt individual actors to commit acts of violence."

Also, PBS is preparing the normies to expect violence from Trump supporters. These people are sick!
