Yes, I agree that far worse things are coming. My point was that deflation on it's own is not a bad thing. Before the Federal Reserve was established the U.S. dollar was worth more than when it was created. Deflationary pressure during the great depression allowed the meager savings of families to go farther. But we won't see that this time around.
Inflation primarily benefits debtors, financiers, and governments. Deflation benefits wage earners and savers.
