Rules Committee Chair Tom Cole from OK? Hmmm. Worthy of an inquiry.
EDIT:
I just spoke to the guy in Rep. Cole's office and he advised that Rep. Cole voted No on a procedural basis because he thinks that this issue should be investigated by the Ethics committee prior to the censorship vote. His vote was not to exonerate Schiff.
Has this issue been investigated by the Ethics committee? Has it been submitted? Can anyone submit a complaint to the Ethics committee?
See House Ethics Committee Rule 14 on page 17-18 of this pdf.
Massie already explained it to me. He only voted no against the fine, because he's got a lawsuit against a different fine from Pelosi years ago and thinks that House fines are illegal.
Luna said she's bringing the measure again next week without the fine, and it'll pass.
