First thing Trump should do is any lawyer that suggested a plea deal should be fired. Why would you plead guilty says something that’s so idiotic and he is innocent of these fake charges.
A libtard neighbor of mine that’s a lawyer said that Trump should plead and I thought that was the dumbest thing ever do these people really think Trump would ever agreed any of these charges?
Maybe he didn't want to avoid the indictment. "How do you introduce evidence legally?" Also, why would he "return the documents?" I thought they were confiscated when they raided Mar a Lago.

I meant before It reached that stage.
They were requesting the documents back all through 2021, then DOJ got involved the issued a subpoena, some documents were returned under the subpoena others were kept. Then the DOJ got the search warrant. If they return the documents when subpoenaed, this probably doesn't become an indictment. If they'd return the documents earlier, it doesn't go to the DOJ
President Trump and his team use the DS lawfare tactics to expose the swamp. Tom Fitton’s advice on this case conveniently fits a well-established pattern of behavior that President Trump and his team already have.
Naturally, attorneys who are not part of President Trump’s inner circle are going to give well established legal advice. It would be against their nature and training to pick a fight with the Federal Government. It is precisely in President Trump’s nature and training to pick these fights.
Tom Fitton is not part of President Trump’s inner circle. He is not part of a team that has less than 10 people with only three of them being civilians. His advice did not lead President Trump astray. This fight is not a case of veering off course, provoking these fights is the course, and has been the course for seven years now.
I don't think it's the liberal media arguing that. It's Trump's lawyers that are arguing that. Where do you think all the quotes about the legal advice are coming from?
Tom Fitton is not a lawyer, he took over Judicial Watch, but he is not an attorney. It's probably not a great idea to take legal advice from someone who is not a lawyer.
This part seems significant
Multiple witnesses said they were asked about Fitton in front of a grand jury and the role he played in Trump’s decisions
...I am hearing rumblings that Trump is having difficulties attaining top notch legal representation because he will not listen to what his attorneys are advising him to do...
...the attorney who represented him in Miami is an insurance specialist and not versed in constitutional law....
Yes. He needs a national security lawyer. In order to discuss certain evidence, a lawyer will need Top Secret security clearance. Hard to find those who are also licensed to practice in Florida.
Did any of you read the article? Pure bullcrap.
It repeatedly stated that the lawyers wanted Trump to come to an agreement.
That is admission of guilt.
Why the hell should he?
...valid observation...
It would have avoided the indictment. He would not have admit guilt.
He would just return the documents.

This is not a plea deal. It's not an admission of guilt.
It would have just meant retuning the documents
Maybe read the comments here.
