They are rigging it right now. They are trying to force him to not run. If they were sure they could cheat again they would not be doing this.
They are big on belt and suspenders though. He's just forcing them to expose themselves by pulling more obvious moves.
Why not? We know they like insurance policies.
Additionally, by indicting him they tie him up to be "less" effective to travel around and campaign. (attempt to humiliate and wear him down)
Plus the idiots out there will believe he is guilty and after it being said 1000 times...
