Through history, the downfall of a civilization happens when they are at the "top" of their "game", living standards are up for most, economic comfort has become available, weapons of war have been perfected (for the age), luxuries abound, the richest are the most amoral, and that amorality trickles down to the culture. God becomes absent in most households, religion is considered intellectually inferior. There is nothing new under the sun. We are living and witnessing the fall of yet another empire. The rulers become weak from their decadence, and on and on goes this cycle. I pray for this endless cycle to be broken once and for all. I have Faith that it will be, by Jesus Christ returning, and he will, if enough pray, God will know it is time and come to us in Christ. Pray, fast, keep HIS HOLY SPIRIT in your consciousness as much as you can, the more you do it, the more HIS presence will be felt, and your ego will be pushed aside and Christ can work in you.
