Wow. That's fantastic. No plan obsolete there.
The truck that carried the men into the fields and the canvas water "bottle" was from the 1930's. You could see the ground through the holes rubbed into the floors from use The truck i used as a teenager also had holes in the floorboards. My parents went through the depression. Nothing got thrown away. Not string, not rubber bands and not car parts or nuts and bolts
😅 Mine, too. Almost every drawer was a junk drawer! But, sort of organized as each had it's own particular category of 'junk'.
We might need those skills, and items soon.
Yes but I really doubt how many can fix a toaster. When my dad died there was an old Frigidaire in the garage. Still worked. In 1978 that frig was at least 50 years old. I am proud if a $4000 frig lasts 10 years.
I remember "Made in the U.S.A" was the rage. Stanley Tool was the standard. You have a set of Stanley, do not get rid of it. It lasts forever.
Just like you said, Frigidaire. I have a freezer from my mom, it has been here for 18 years now but she had it for over 20+ before that. The newer ones, last me ten years.
I remember when all the stuff were made in Taiwan before. They all broke down in less than a year.
