GET OFF MY LAWN!
I like clover. I understand its benefits. I donβt kill it. I also understand that once I grow in some St. Augustine I will start to trap the moisture, expand the St. Augustine, get rid of the weeds, consume the CO2, prevent the soil from blowing away, and cool the air. I have also planted many trees on my acreage. These too will provide benefits.
All things in moderation.
St. Augustine is the grass that has heavier stems and is not soft to sit on. Right? But I do know it is very very tough! It's a brute of a survivor. I remember it being very hardy. In California as a kid we had dicondera (sp) as a lawn. It is soft and pretty, delicate looking, probably the same family as clover. I have never seen it since. Anywhere.
