Yes, my back & neck have been hurting a lot more the last few days, I just assumed I overdid myself. I have lower back issues & also in neck. Husband and I have also been more tired. And my damn acid reflux got worse the last couple of weeks, but that could be because of food I guess.
I used to gobble antacids all day and did the occasional treatments with Prilosec. Thirty years ago my wife and I saw something on TV about the Atkins diet. The "journalists" savaged the diet at the time, but we were thinking bacon and eggs for breakfast, salads for lunch, and steak and lobster with butter for dinner every day? Let's try it!
I stuck with it for 6 months and lost 70 pounds. After the first month I noticed that the daily heartburn completely disappeared. My doctor calls sugar "The White Poison". Cut back on the carbohydrates for awhile and see how you feel.
Mine got so bad I thru up a few times, took a few days to start eating normal again, then a week later it happened again, but that time (about a week ago) I totally couldn't hold anything down, thru up 11 times that afternoon and night. Just started eating normally again a few days ago. I hated to but I started taking prilosec again. After the last time, I started eating an egg with one small waffle along with herbal tea and I've been ok. Before that I was eating a protein bagel with coffee. I think that's what started it all.

Congrats! Cutting sugar out of your diet is hard. Sugar is more addictive than heroin.
