Just replace oil with lard. SCP has wagyu fat for 30 bucks online, 42oz container and typically lasts me a few months.
I've read about lard and tallow. That sounds like a good price for something 'wagyu'. I'll have to look more into it. I've recently been saving my bacon grease. Going to try it next time it's scrambled eggs & home fries for dinner! 😋
Try popping popcorn in bacon grease...we did that growing up...it is delicious...
I also sprinkle Gaylord Hauser's original "SPIKE" on popcorn to season...very delicious...with butter...yum...
