I have since seen recipes using brown butter. If I forgot while doing other things and my butter browned, which I thought 'burnt', I would throw it out and start over. Now I know I didn't have to.
All thanks go to u/BQnita for leaving this post up. There's no way to add text to a link post, except in the title, so I'll have to be more descriptive there.
We really need to get back to the way things used to be done. I'm sure they were much better for us.
It's been wonderful to see all the alternatives to the poison food they've been pushing upon us. Thank you for your advice, it's been helpful.
Thank you, u/BQnita for leaving this post up. I appreciate being able to share information I have with others to make better choices about food/cooking.
I agree we need to get back to the old ways of doing things. I am currently searching for heirloom seeds to grow helpful medicinal plants as well as plants for eating with the mouth and the eyes.
Here's a search to get you started with heirloom seeds.
I'm sure u/tweety51A can give you lots of advice on medicinal plants. She's a veritable encyclopedia when it comes to natural remedies.
Thank you very much!
