Six Republicans voted present when Schiff was censured. Five of these Republicans are members on the Ethics committee.
Here are the names of the 6 Republicans in second paragraph:
If you read any article about Schiff's censure, you would see that Schiff is also going to be investigated by the Ethics committee.
Look here in the second paragraph:

Now, look here at the names on the Ethics committee for the Majority.

I think it would look like a conflict of interest if the members of the Ethics committee voted to censure Schiff and then later investigated him. They would look as though they already found Schiff guilty of crimes before the investigation began. By voting "Present" they kept any bias out of future investigations.
Its funny that we were down 20 votes last time they voted for this, but this time there is surplus votes. Loving this movie.
Here is why: Pelosi ‘fined’ all of those Reps. because they told her to take her masking policy and shove it up her ass. Those same people are still CURRENTLY legally fighting those bullshit fines. If they voted YES to a fine on Schiff it would have been a DE FACTO agreeing that Pelosi had the legal authority to fine them when she did. They had to vote no to the fine, not the censure.
Devin Nunez said as much in his X22 interview. I didn't know about the Pelosi fines, but his point was that they didn't want to set a precedent as the House has never fined other members before.
I saw that too. Still funny that the timing worked out such that he was censured on the same day that the dems were "ceding their time" to him to ask questions of Durham, as if he was some sort of learned elder statesman, instead of the criminal hack that he is.
