I received this email from a company that charters private flights..I don't know what they were collecting previously, so make this of what you will.
The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) has announced new guidelines for collecting passenger information on all private flights.
Starting today, June 22, 2023, we are required to collect the following information from each passenger: • Full name • Date of birth • Gender • Weight (recommended) • Citizenship • Passport information (if international) A government-issued photo ID is also required to board a chartered aircraft.
The information collected is cross-checked through the TSA's extensive databases to strengthen security in the private aviation sector and keep all fliers safe in the sky.
FAA inspired no less...last year they made it so drone pilots have to DOX themselves before and during the flight makes flying my DJI for fun kind of no fun at all...seems anything going in the air needs to be ID'd according to them. Can't have Patriots flying around making life difficult for traitors. Now TSA's no fly lists will extend to the Charter Industry...what happens next is something we have seen before, I am sure some peoples addition to the list will be in "error" preventing their travel. But it will collect data on some elites as well to be sure, but many own their planes already and as such their flights are not regulated by this order. So it does effect the average joe more then the people we are actually concerned about.
