Trump wins GOP primary; Biden or whomever they pick as a new puppet to replace him “wins” Dem primary plagued in suspicion that RFKJR got Bernied. Trump picks RFKJR as his running mate. Not sure if there are rules against such a thing with the whole crossing over parties mid cycle like that, but interesting I think.

No one would have to switch parties. The President and VP can be from different parties. The 12th Amendment does forbid the president and vice president being from the same state.
I am kinda thinking that could happen too. I don't want that to be the precipice but it might be. It WOULD really scare me.
I believe RFK Jr. Already said he would decline the offer if Trump made the offer. However, maybe he is saying that for the sake of optics. Maybe he wants to build enough of a base before he jumps ship? He'd take an awful lot of moderate voters with him, wherever he goes.
For the good of the country, both say that the government is corrupt. Have you looked at his platform?
I really like RFKjr. I just saw a video where he came and said flatly, the democratic party is the party of unending wars, big pharma and censorship. He said other things but damn, I was very impressed. I would absolutely vote for that guy.
If he really believes that why is he still a Democrat? I respect your opinion… but IMO he’s a wolf in sheep’s clothing no one with a D after their name can be trusted
I hear that said about him a lot and it may be true, being a wolf. As for why he is blue...I don't know. I mean his uncle and father were so that is probably why. Red and blue are both corrupt and need to go. Party lines are getting blurry as they both try and stuff as much money in their pockets before they lose power.
I’ll see your scenario and raise it that both get Bernied and together decide to run as 3rd party.
This is what I'm thinking. They would be an absolute power house if both they ran a 3rd party together.
Also, DJT has not badmouthed RFK. Don’t remember him badmouthing Pence before they became running mates either.
In the no so distant past, the candidate with the second largest amount of votes became vice president. For example,Theodore Roosevelt (bull party) ran against William McKinley (republican) and lost which made him the vice president. After McKinley was assassinated, Roosevelt became president.
You have to be a member of the party to run on the ticket.
If RFK changed his registration to republican it would probably work.
