I think your eh ...graph is provably wrong. First your time frame is wrong. What is considered the bible can only be ascertained after 325 AD, for Paul had a different set of books and manuscripts. Easy peasy: John's letters, revelation, John's Gospel Jude, James, Peter's letters etc, were not part of Paul's canon.

Second: looking at the old testament, it has become more extreme. Read the prophets and compare to Nehemia and Ezra: the power of the Priests.

But reading the Mosaic law and the stories surrounding the establishment of Israel in the middle East, they were quite radical and extreme, to the point were they became a bad smell to the people around them.
