Unless he started to hyperventilate and pass out from being in the makeup chair too long having the mask applied. And they only had minutes before they needed to Weekend-at-Bernies him in front of a crowd. So they strapped on an oxygen mask for some pumped-up O2. I bet if he rolled his sleeves up, you'd see he just had an IV too.
