Not to mention it happened in June. Trees, underbrush, grass are all still green with the soil still moist. If "a fire" broke out it would be easily contained. What will August and September look like?

Set up piles of it in specific locations, hit with directed energy weapons and you have an untraceable (at least in the mainstream) arson starter kit.
