Is Dee's song somehow not subject to copyright? I forget how that works when it's considered public or whatever. Either way this is awesome!!!

You can pay for permission to use the song, which may be owned by a music company rather than by the original songwriter. Not sure what the situation is here, but there are ways. Of course, someone could refuse any amount of money.
