For what it's worth, Julie Green has said that France will fall. It certainly looks in dire shape from the videos in that article. Very hard to spitball from a distance, but it reminds me of the Rodney King riots except that I don't remember machine guns then.

No, but Korean store owners had rifles which they used to defend their businesses from rioters.

Yup. Good on them. That's why it looks worse today for France: not only are the rioters better armed, French citizens are handicapped as it's much harder for them to own firearms.
