I also saw flashes through the windows this past week. I didn't look, but I assumed it was lightning because of thunder. I don't want to be paranoid, but is there something going on that is not natural? I've had a bad cold or flu, so I didn't really rouse myself, just periodically waking up to rumblings and flashes. Glanced up at the sky near sunset today. Again, the "smoke" was partially blocking the sun, and the sun a hot white, not yellow. Supposed to be more thunderstorms tonight. Went out again, neighbors shooting fireworks. Thick cloud cover that wasn't there earlier and no sign of the sun, even though it isn't very dark yet. Just looks like rain will be coming.
And I will shew wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke. The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and the terrible day of the LORD come. And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the LORD hath said, and in the remnant whom the LORD shall call.
Joel 2:30-32
There are supposed to be strange sights in the sky when the Lord's return draws near. Well, que sera, sera. Can only wait and see what happens.
