When I first heard about the "plan" to block the sunlight made me think of a movie plot. After driving me crazy what the movie was I finally remembered. Highlander (the movie) II, the Quickening. Set in 2024, a dome had been erected to protect the world from solar radiation. And society had gone to hell in a handbasket. I think the movie came out on the mid 80's. Telling us what they were planning on doing in 2024? looks that way
