So this week Twitter restricts the number of views, Reddit restricted the use of APIs to access its content (ie Apollo shuts down), probably there are some other examples. This seems counterintuitive for platforms where you’d think they’d want as many users and views as possible.
These places are where a lot of alternate information seeps through to normies. Is this some sort of throttling in preparation for a future event(s)? IDK
It’s not only that. I have a small following, around 5,000 followers. When I post a meme or an article, and someone replies, I always like their post. I don’t know if that’s proper social convention, but it’s what I do. When I do that too much, it thinks I’m a bit and I can’t post anything for a while.

No doubt your simply encouraging activity on your threads but the algos dont know the difference.
