One thing I have to remind myself when I get impatient, is that this mess was built slowly over a very long time.

So it can only be healed slowly, over a long period of time.

We all have to commit to the long game the same way they did.

It may take longer than we want, but with consistent collective progress it will happen objectively pretty fast in hindsight.

If we do, then I fully agree with you that we will all see a new golden Age of Enlightenment, in our lifetimes.
