Peter John Dalglish is a Canadian humanitarian worker and founder of the Street Kids International charity. He was the Country Representative for UN-Habitat in Afghanistan until 2015 and is currently serving an 8-year prison term in Nepal after being convicted of raping two young boys.2 Dalglish was detained near Kathmandu in 2018 and convicted last month.1 He was sentenced to nine years for abusing a 12-year-old boy and seven years for molesting a 14-year-old boy.01 Dalglish had denied the charges and his lawyer said he would appeal. In 2016, he was awarded the Order of Canada, the country's second-highest civilian honour, for his work with disadvantaged children.
