McCarthy being removed does not pave the way for Moochelle. There exists a further line of power in the Senate.

Washington State Senator Patty Murray is the President Pro Tempore of the Senate. If something were to happen to her in the line of succession, then she would be President. One example would be if the Speaker, Brandon, and heels up were at the same White House function and a gunman managed to kill them all. However, the chance of that happening is not good given the protection given the President by the secret service.
Good point. A lot of the Biden Residency doesn't seem to be polished. We see that with the Resident being lost, confused, and generally out of it while the Vice Resident loves word salads.
