I work with several large corporations in Canada. Nearly every meeting I have, 50+ % of the participants are from India with thick accents.
20 years ago I was led to believe that gaining employment as a foreigner in Canada was very difficult and required many letters of recommendation and gubmint approvals.
Any resident maple leafs know what / how/ when this changed?
Yeah, in tech, they realized they could pay 2 Indians the same as 1 entry level American and get crap code back that kind of works, so they started exporting said jobs to people that didn't have to pay 100K for an education. Just don't ask Boeing how well that code works. 😅
