There is an unknown number of childhood molestation cases because an unknown number DO NOT REMEMBER IT HAPPENING! One of the protective measures of the human brain is to forget traumatic events. This phenomenon could explain why some child molesters have no known previous history of being molested, but why would anyone do it unless they had been previously molested?
