That's untrue, I believe mods gave us a rundown post in the past of how many unique visitors this site actually gets and it was much, much higher than anyone expected.
Lurkers, although they don't add much to the cause here, still take a lot of the info to other digital battlefields.
I often lurk, but don't have much too add to the conversation here, but I will share with friends at work
