AMC's CEO making a definitive comment like this without taking into account that some, not all, but some of his theater managers and employees ARE throttling SoF showings just points to his ignorance of the situation "on the ground."

Yes, I admit, those Twitter postings could be misinformation, however, they are more than likely real instances.

Notice, also, that he didn't say he has talked to any of his theater managers to impress upon them that they have to show it.
