When did freedom from suffering become something people deserve or entitled to? I would argue that life IS suffering. It is what propels Society forward.
Minds accepting of reality, of what is—without desire to change it—are the only minds that are not suffering.
This has been known for thousands of years. An entire religion with half a billion adherents arose from it (against the wishes of its most venerated figure, Prince Siddhartha Gotama—the Buddha—who had no 'desire' to start a religion) ;p
