Camouflage could be a legit explanation. But don’t claim to know for sure, period, end of story, where he truly stands.

The level of triggered reactions so far is on par with a comment I made a few years ago on TDW/PDW questioning Desantis and his true motives.

Controlled opposition is a thing that exists. And as I said, I hope I’m wrong.

But telling people not to question things is more troubling than me potentially (hopefully) being provably wrong

That is a very fair point and to be clear, I never suggested to not question things, at all. Question everything. Questioning Desantis and questioning Donald Trump, after what he has endured for this, are 2 very very different things. To put Desantis in the same category as Trump is troubling to me.

I was simply on this reply trying to answer to OP's request the best I could based on my questioning.
