Thank you. I feel the exact same way after my own decades of investigation - the kind of investigation that's necessity because you MUST know - because it's like a splinter in your very core. An existential crisis. You have no choice but to seek out the truth, often venturing where few are strong enough to allow themselves to go to arrive at it. Certainly not because I needed a hobby or because anyone else told me to do it or believe it.
So many missed the Christ's message - whether he walked the earth or not - his entire message is that you are and can be Christ. He is the example. Same with the Buddha. This fantasy that Jesus is going to come back and make everything heaven on earth is such a cop out. It's no different than expecting superman or some other savior to fix everything. It's very immature. Most that believe it haven't even tasted a glimpse of Christ consciousness because they haven't been spoon fed that or instructed to attempt it.
Such is the nature of believing vs knowing. There's a HUGE difference. When your spirt KNOWS the truth, through experience, you no longer assume the role of second class citizen/spirit by default... and therefore, bow to no one. I doubt many have really thought about what kind of being would want to be worshipped. It's repugnant. The true God would never need or want that. It'd be like a girl/boy friend that relentlessly worshipped the ground you walked on... that would get pretty annoying, pretty quickly. But few can allow themselves to even consider that perspective or even try on the thought of it... and so it goes.
