Haven't really spent much time on Reddit. What little I did read there was fairly ignorant of some of the information I was looking for. In the few areas that I am very educated on, the information was very shallow and some of the posts were outright wrong. Reddit seems like a bunch of kids and low information basement dwellers. There are a few with some information, but as I continued researching the topic, I found some of them to have copied and pasted from wikipedia and other websites, so they were simply regurgitating info on the topics at hand. I was unimpressed, which is why I don't spend time on Reddit.
Other than their pretentiousness, Reddit comments = YouTube comments.
I use Reddit for information related to hobbies or reviews of products, so that I can have a centralized place to view some opinions on stuff. Sometimes people end up being brutally honest about products because they aren't running a website trying to ensure they get $$$ from the product they're reviewing.
That's it, at the moment.
Edit: Actually I'm also on Reddit to shit on the hypermods who are virtue signaling over the API changes and throwing a tantrum about Reddit replacing mods of communities pulling this shit as if they own the site when they had zero problems banning us on Pizzagate and T_D. I think there was a GAW as well but I am fuzzy on that.
