The legal profession hates this technology and has actively been trying to suppress it for years.

They usually don’t like anything that threatens to reduce their already substantial paychecks. Lawyer groups were freaking out out not that long ago because AI programs were capable of passing practice BAR exams. And several organizations expressed interest in trialing AI programs to deal with minor civil cases and traffic tickets. In place of Lawyers. To save time and money.
