Spoiler - Thune won't go anywhere. He is heir-apparent to Cocaine Mitch. He is doing more and more, which makes me think he is being groomed when Turtle leaves next round, in 2026. Mitch is 81, and the only reason he was reelected last time was Trump decided to help him. Mitch repayed him by stabbing him in the back.
