This response upset me so much, amd the fact that you received upvotes is even worse. I just had a friend tell her child that he couldn't bring the Bible for this reason. We should never ever ever dissuade anyone from bringing/reading a Bible anywhere.
I don't think we should use the tactic OP suggested because we don't want to use our children as tools in any fight. "Dumb idea. Separation of church and state" is even worse than OPs post because it encourages people to vacate their 1st amendment right. I had a Christian friend that also misinterpreted that part of amendment and ended up restricting her son's freedom to bring his Bible.

We should not be giving up our kids into the dens of iniquity to begin with.
Homeschooling isn't an option for everyone. I raised mine to see the matrix for what it is.
It's your right to read your own book in a public space and doing so does not infringe on the rights of others.
I am aware
