He is a member of the Knights Templar --- not writing him off, especially after what Q said, but being skeptical is not wrong here.

We have double agents and deceivers EVERYWHERE.

I will fault no one for being skeptical, if he was accused of being a Mason why wouldn't he say he is a Knights Templar and break the ice atleast?
