Kevin Mitnick, whose cyber crimes inspired the 2000 film "Takedown" and who was the subject of a highly publicized FBI manhunt, died of pancreatic cancer.

Dang man. I remember following the "Free Mitnick" campaign in the 90's. It was big in the 2600 Hacker Quarterly and other Warez sites......
