My guess is white hats getting ahead of it. Here is my rationale for that. 2017, after Trump was president, we saw our 1st officially released video's of UAPs on Tucker. Then we watched a steady drumbeat of UAP type stories. Now we have insiders coming forward with reports that the US has recovered UAPs for decades and have been reverse engineering the technology. Eventually they will be forced to reveal that this has been going on since AT LEAST 1947 (Roswell). But the main point is that operation Bluebeam was predicated on scaring the population with a false flag. Now that it's becoming known that the deep state has been reverse engineering Alien Tech, that is reducing the effectiveness of a false flag because now we know that have some of this tech.

This is what I think is going on. The White Hats have been slowly exposing the world to this idea that we are not alone and now they are forcing the tech out into the open. The goal, imo, is to bring all of this out into the open so that the world can accept and then begin to interact with these beings to get the benefits of their knowledge. IF there really is a galactic federation, the world would want to join it. One of the reasons that Trump is showing the world that the deep state is behind all the wars and that we can/should live in peace is to get the world's population sick of war and be willing to lay down their arms. A unified world that doesn't continually wage war with each other would be a likely prerequisite for any world looking to join such a federation, should one exist. I know it's way out there, but a lot of small pieces are fitting together that would indicate this is possibly what is going on.
