If you break down local action into the most primary, baby-step actions, like for people who are struggling very hard and have neither time nor funds for doing it, what are a few things that can be done? It is not all about running for offices.
Local means nothing when most state, national and world governments, courts, law enforcement and most institutions are wholly corrupt. Local is a spit in the wind.
This was always the case, see something let someone know. However, it seems like civilians have to do the heavy lifting. Like a man stopping another man from harming people in a subway. Whare are our police, why does a 16yr old have to defend themselves against armed and dangerous criminals. A diseased temple and our thin veneer of civility is almost completely gone. The rule of law is a suggestion to minorities but absolutely binding to the Americans who live here. I'm tired of you need to get involved and sacrifice your life and livelihoods.
