You know what would really help? If things were safe enough to leave windows open at night for cooling.

Back in the 90s when I watched the news daily something struck me about this. When the news first came on they talked about the crimes, house break ins etc. Then the weather guy comes on. He would say it's going to be cool enough tonight to sleep with the windows open. I'm at home thinking I'm not leaving windows up to make it easy for crooks.
