I need assistance from Anons smarter than me. What if you were going to run for office in your small town, but corruption runs deep? What strategies would you employ?

Considering running for something in 2024. But I am not wealthy, and if I become a target, I'm sort of finished.

Corruption runs deep. And it goes high... way above my head. I don't know why my town is so special, but it is a bastion for the globalists, apparently. Honestly, you may be as surprised as I was to learn just how far down the globalist agenda has reached.

Anyway, any thoughts about strategies to stay safe, to acheive goals, etc? Anyone do this and want to share?

Edit: prayer and asking God to guide my discernment is first and foremost. He gave me the idea to ask all of you.

Some of the advice given is good for small or medium sized cities, but you mentioned you’re running in a “small town”. How small? My idea of a small town is different than most people’s.
