How many people in the US have seen Sound of Freedom??
GOOoOoooooooo!!!
We keep hearing about the money, but for public exposure isn't it more important how many people have seen it? So at 100 million $ at an average of $10/ ticket, that would come to 10 million people. Yes?
We need to get this to 100 million views.
Fair point, pay-it-forward helps to keep it in theatres longer so that people who may have held off or not heard of it get a chance to watch it.
But still makes it impossible to measure viewership, should that even matter.
Yeah, it is impossible to measure actual viewership. The benefit or tradeoff is that the film gets more exposure the longer it stays in theaters. In the long run, the increased exposure is should result in more viewers.
I suspect that the MSM thought that they could end the theater run with bad reviews and mockery preventing people from going to see it.
