Remember first seeing this in a documentary on a mainstream TV channel in the early 2000s which persuaded me this was a hoax.
That was until several years ago when an online video API became available which increases the otherwise unperceivable contrast between video frames and hence shows blood flow in a living organism. Someone uploaded this footage and the being was shown to have a blood flow.

can't help but feel sorry for the guy. although yes, it appears to be a 'grey', who have done their fair share of experiments on us.
but the history of the 'grey's and the purpose of the experiments is pretty cool.
