This could be accomplished via update. Complete Uninstall and reinstal... I do agree that the rebrand may mean significant changes under the covers though.
Generally agree but a complete rebrand is what would justify things like changing the store package identifiers and updating domains.
Basically making it unrecognizable to current OS builds and networks as it would be "new".
We'll see how it shakes out. I'm not even sure it's significant news. Might just be the branding direction as Elon expands Twitter's uses.
