So Musk was obviously one of them who has now flipped and the flip (or mirror) is needed to make it mason compass. So Elon (or the character that plays him) is no longer walking the line between the dark and the light, he is in the light only. That is how I interpret the logo, it's a taunt.

I like your take. With that in mind, it would make sense that the flipped (mirrored) X logo represents just that.
