Oh gosh! The person in me, I seriously hope it's not too late for the people we love. The sneaky person in me can't wait to scream, I told you!!! We used to go to at least one concert a month for about five years. Some people we become friends with (at concerts) got the vaccine just for concerts. As much as I loved going nothing was that important for us to get experimental vaccines! Thankfully my husband daughter and her husband are against them.
Same! My husband loves live music so much that luckily we have an old friend to go with him when I don't want to (like Jethro Tull), we call her his concert wife. He really missed concerts during lockdowns and he knows buddies from high school who took the clot shot to go to concerts. We refused.
It's good your husband has a concert buddy. I've seen several people over the years alone at concerts. I could do it but it's more fun with friends or family. My last concert was in Charleston SC the weekend before the shutdown. The headlining artist had Covid right after that weekend. Honestly I wouldn't mind going to a concert again. The artist I listen to and saw in concert multiple times kinda disappointed me. They didn't stand up and say it was wrong to ask for vax proof. One group, Cadillac 3, seen once kept posting "get vaccinated" they kept having to postpone their shows because someone always had Covid. I believe they were being paid to promote it. There's a few that never posted about getting the vaccine. I prefer they keep their beliefs to themselves. But I like it when I find artists who have the same beliefs as me. I'll probably go to another concert one day. I'm focusing on more important things for now.
It wouldn't bother me to go to a concert alone because what bugs my family about me is that I can have fun with strangers. because they wouldn't be strangers for very long lol

I get that! I can talk to anyone unless they are jerks.
